My wife and I went on a Saturday night and even though the place was packed everything ran super smooth. Our food and drinks were delicious. I had the Saturday special which I highly recommend. In reality you can't go wrong with any of the dishes. Enjoy!
first time that I'm here..what a nice place! sat outside and in times of Covid it was still very nicely decorated ! family owned and operated as we were told by one of the owners.. food was fantastic full of flavor! having lived in the Miami area for many years this was actually a awesome treat.. even the coffee tasted authentic and delicious 😋 I don't live anywhere near here (about 2 1/2 hours away) but having been here for a little exploration of Long Island.. this might be a reason to drive up here! so in conclusion- a great place with delicious food and super friendly staff!
This place has some great food. We love the Sunday special and the Oxtail. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Definitely check this spot out. Parking is around back.
Impeccable service and the quality of the food was amazing, arguably better than the cuban food I get back home. Lechon asado was very juicy and moist with great flavor. Staff was very attentive and friendly.
Absolutely love this place! Such a great atmosphere, they’ve got options for seafood, chicken and red meat. Nice music, very friendly staff and delicious food. We had the fried grouper and it comes with 2 sides of our choice. The codfish fritters are a MUST buy!
Ok so first off, you feel like you are in someone’s home, it feels like you are with family. The inside is so welcoming and makes you get into the mood for delicious food. I got the ropa vira, my wife got the chicken in garlic sauce, both amazing. Waiter was very kind and helpful. The dessert hit the spot with the Natilla, my wife loved it. The food took a minute to come out but it’s because it’s made with love!! Cant wait to come back!! Best authentic cuban ive had on long island.
Love this restaurant. After living in Florida for nearly 35 years, I can confidently day that this gem of a restaurant is as good or better than any Cuban Restaurant in Miami. Authentic Cuban cuisine, awesome atmosphere, family owned and operated for nearly 50 years going back to the original location in Corona. You will be hard pressed to find better service. Can't recommend enough!

Amazing experience! Food is delicious and authentic Cuban! Wait staff are fun and lively. A great time. Be sure to get a reservation, small dining area. We enjoyed our meals so thoroughly we did not take pictures. The ham croquettes are a must! The Ropa Vieja was delicious as was the Vaca Frita with plantains or Moros y Cristianos.
Got introduced to this wonderful Cuban restaurant when they were in Queens over 30 years ago. They closed that location and now operate out of Huntington and New Hyde Park. Their food, service and hospitality has been always been five star. So when something is so good why change, just expand. We visit the Huntington location quite often. We start with Pina Coladas and Cuba Libre (rum and coke), for appetizers the chorizo and tamales. While there is an assortment of meats, fish and chicken, our favorite is the ropa veija, tender shredded beef in a wonderful sauce with the best steamed white rice and of course madoros. Another hit of ours is the breaded steak and my new favorite, the broiled flounder. Our next dish will be the paella. Just need to call ahead. The Flan, Tres Leches cake and Cuban coffee is always a good ending. The service is always top notch. Red and white table cloths. A bar area with a separate dining area. You may even be lucky to catch a unique celebration song and dance by one of the staff. Make sure you have your camera ready. And a special thank you to Raul. The last time we were there, I tried a new dish that was good, but not something that enjoyed. Don’t you know it, Raul surprised me and sent me home with a serving of Ropa Vieja. Thank you Raul.
